Cars of Hope
A Wash with a Purpose Partner
Cars of Hope is a volunteer-run nonprofit working to reduce poverty in the Chicagoland area by providing reliable transportation to under-resourced families.
By refurbishing donated vehicles, or using proceeds from non-working cars to fund repairs, Cars of Hope helps people who have fallen on hard times get the transportation they need to reach employment, school, and medical appointments.
The organization partners with local social service agencies to vet recipients, with the goal of helping families achieve financial independence.
